ومع أن مكتب المدعي العام لولاية أواخاكا لا يستحوذ على نظام داخلي، من الأهمية الإشارة إلى أن وكالة التحقيقات التابعة للولاية تخضع لقانون الولاية المتعلق بمنع التعذيب والمعاقبة عليه والوارد في قانونها الأساسي.
