Whether this is a coincidence or not, I do not know, but this campaign marked the beginning of 50 years of growth in Mexico at a rate of 6.2%; fifty continuous years. This growth was also spurred by Mexico having gone from an agricultural and rural era into a much delayed urban and industrial stage. The golden era of those 50 years was from 1958 to 1970, when Mr. Antonio Ortiz Mena worked for both the Ministry of Finance & Public Credit and Mexico's Central Bank; growth was accelerated, inflation was low, interest rates and financing were long term, etc.

De ahí se inician, no sé si es casualidad o no, 50 años de crecimiento de México al 6.2 por ciento, 50 años continuos; claro, también eso se debe a que estábamos muy rezagados y se plantea el pasar de un México agrícola y rural a un México urbano e industrial. La época de oro de esa etapa, de esos 50 años, fue del año 58 al 70, donde estaba don Antonio Ortiz Mena en Hacienda y el Banco de México, en donde se crece de manera muy rápida, se tiene una inflación muy baja, se tienen tasas de interés y financiamiento a largo plazo, etc.
