National Plan for Safe Motherhood and Childbirth: this is directed towards reducing the levels of maternal and infant mortality; it follows on from and reinforces the Universal Maternal and Infant Insurance scheme (SUMI) and calls for unity, a collaborative approach, optimization of resources, integration of technical aspects and programmes, consideration of the intercultural aspect, reorganization of systems and the inclusion of civil society, so that in conjunction with the health personnel it shall guarantee continuity in care and services for pregnant women.

Plan Nacional de Maternidad y Nacimiento Seguro: está orientado a reducir los niveles de mortalidad materna e infantil, da continuidad y fortalece el Seguro Universal Materno Infantil (SUMI) y convoca a la unidad, a la actitud colaborativa, a la optimización de los recursos, a la integración técnica y programática, a la adecuación intercultural, a la reorganización de los sistemas y a la inclusión de la sociedad civil que junto con el personal de salud, deben garantizar la continuidad de la atención y de los cuidados para la mujer embarazada.

Национальный план безопасного материнства и родов. Его цель – снижение уровня материнской и детской смертности, укрепление и обеспечение устойчивости Универсальной системы страхования матери и ребенка (СУМИ) и содействие укреплению единства, сотрудничества, оптимизации ресурсов, технической и программной интеграции, учету культурного многообразия, системной реорганизации и привлечению гражданского общества, которое совместно с работниками системы здравоохранения призвано обеспечить должный уровень медицинской помощи и поддержки беременных женщин.
