The present user interface (UI) providing apparatus comprises: a reception unit for receiving user information using near field communication from a communication device in which the user information is stored; a control unit for configuring a UI so as to respond to information about the type and the degree of a user's disability derived on the basis of the user information; and an output unit for outputting the configured UI.
