God has struck a similitude: two men, one of them dumb, having no power over anything, and he is a burden upon his master -- wherever he despatches him, he brings no good. Is he equal to him who bids to justice, and is on a straight path?

மேலும், அல்லாஹ் இரு மனிதர்களைப் பற்றிய (மற்றும்) ஓர் உதாரணம் கூறுகிறான். அவ்விருவரில் ஒருவன் ஊமை(யான அடிமை) எந்தப் பொருளின் மீது (உரிமையும்) சக்தியும் அற்றவன். தன் எஜமானனுக்குப் பெரும் சுமையாகவும் அவன் இருக்கின்றான். எங்கு அவனை அனுப்பினாலும் அவன் யாதொரு நன்மையும் கொண்டு வர மாட்டான். மற்றவனோ, தானும் நேர் வழியிலிருந்து, (பிறரையும் நன்மை செய்யுமாறு) நீதியைக் கொண்டு ஏவுகிறான் - இவனுக்கு (முந்தியவன்) சமமாவானா?
