While in principle it would be prudent to align the provisions relating to the withdrawal of objections with those relating to the withdrawal of reservations, it must be noted that there is a significant difference in the wording of paragraph # (relating to the withdrawal of reservations) and that of paragraph # (relating to the withdrawal of objections) of article # whereas paragraph # is careful to state, with regard to a reservation, that “the consent of a State which has accepted the reservation is not required for its withdrawal”, paragraph # does not make the same specification as far as objections are concerned
