Ida-programmet har bidraget til at fremme både kommunikationen mellem institutionerne og Fællesskabets beslutningsproces, f.eks. med hensyn til behandling af officielle dokumenter og anvendelse af e-mail i udvalgene. Programmet har også styrket arbejdet i de europæiske agenturer, f.eks. inden for lægemiddelsektoren og i forbindelse med samarbejdet med de europæiske miljøorganisationer.

The IDA Programme also contributed to facilitating inter-institutional communication and the Community decision-making process, e.g. via management of official documents and e-mail support for committees, and the operation of the European Agencies, e.g. in the pharmaceutical sector or through the connection of European environmental organisations.
