The United Nations Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy, adopted by the General Assembly in its resolution 60/288, also assigned a number of tasks to the Executive Directorate, including (a) assisting relevant regional and subregional organizations to create or strengthen counter-terrorism mechanisms or centres, (b) facilitating the adoption of legislation and administrative measures to combat terrorism, (c) identifying counter-terrorism good practices, together with relevant international organizations, and (d) facilitating technical assistance.

La Estrategia Global de las Naciones Unidas contra el Terrorismo, aprobada por la Asamblea General en su resolución 60/288, también asignó varias tareas a la Dirección Ejecutiva, entre ellas: a) asistir a las organizaciones regionales y subregionales pertinentes para establecer o reforzar mecanismos o centros de lucha contra el terrorismo, b) facilitar la aprobación de leyes y medidas administrativas para luchar contra el terrorismo, c) determinar buenas prácticas de lucha contra el terrorismo junto con las organizaciones internacionales pertinentes, y d) facilitar la asistencia técnica.

La Stratégie antiterroriste mondiale des Nations Unies, que l’Assemblée générale a adoptée dans sa résolution 60/288, confie de même un certain nombre de tâches à la Direction exécutive, notamment : a) aider les organisations régionales et sous-régionales compétentes à créer des dispositifs ou des centres antiterroristes ou à renforcer ceux qui existent; b) faciliter l’adoption de lois et de mesures administratives permettant de combattre le terrorisme; c) dégager, en coopération avec les organisations internationales compétentes, les pratiques de référence en matière de lutte antiterroriste; et d) faciliter la prestation d’une assistance technique.

В соответствии с Глобальной контртеррористической стратегией Организации Объединенных Наций, принятой Генеральной Ассамблеей в ее резолюции 60/288, на Исполнительный директорат также возложен ряд задач, в том числе а) оказание помощи соответствующим региональным и субрегиональным организациям в создании или укреплении механизмов или центров по борьбе с терроризмом, b) содействие принятию законодательных и административных мер по борьбе с терроризмом, c) выявление передового опыта в деле борьбы с терроризмом совместно с соответствующими международными организациями и d) содействие оказанию технической помощи.
