ويجدر ذكر حالة واحدة فقط، ففي مدرسة أبل سانتا ماريا الخاصة، حيث يكافح 150 طفلا ضريرا أو من ذوي العاهات البصرية، القيود التي فرضتها عليهم الحياة، يعمل المعلمون والتلاميذ معا في جهد خارق يتعلم من خلاله الأطفال القراءة والكتابة وتقدم لهم المعارف التي يحتاجونها والتي تفيدهم في حياتهم.

To mention only one case, at the Abel Santamaría Special School, where 150 blind or otherwise visually impaired children struggle with the limitations imposed on them by life, teachers and pupils work together in a colossal undertaking in which the children learn to read and write and are given the knowledge that they will need to be useful in their lives.

Por solo citar un caso, vale destacar lo que sucede en la Escuela Especial Abel Santamaría, donde 150 niños y niñas ciegos o débiles visuales luchan contra las limitaciones que les impone la vida. Profesores y alumnos se unen en un empeño colosal. Los pequeños deben aprender a leer y a escribir, y recibir los conocimientos necesarios para ser útiles en la vida.
