Notwithstanding the demilitarisation of the Albanian armed groups in Kosovo and the deployment of the Kosovo Protection Corps, cells within the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) have remained active: in 2000 they went into action in the Serbian region of Presevo and in 2001 were involved in incursions into FYROM’s territory.

En dépit de la démilitarisation des combattants albanais du Kosovo et de la mise en place de la Force de protection du Kosovo (KTM), les cellules de l’UÇK sont demeurées actives et dès 2000, elles sont passées à l’action, d’abord en Serbie, dans la région de Presevo et en 2001 sur le territoire de l’ARYM.
