Identifying the germination factors, even using elevated concentration of gibberellins inhibitors, paclobutrazol and tetcyclasis (both to 100μM) the germination was not completely inhibited, reaching 32% of protrusion in presence of paclobutrazol and 48% in presence of tetcyclasis. The presence of inhibitors delayed germination onset. When fluridon was added to inhibit ABA accumulation during soaking in the presence of light (8/16h), the germination began after 22 hours of soaking, overcoming all previous times.

Na identificação dos fatores determinantes para a germinação, mesmo usando elevadas concentrações de inibidores da síntese de giberelinas, paclobutrazol e tetcyclacis (100μM), a germinação não foi completamente inibida, chegando a 32% de protrusão radicular na presença de paclobutrazol e a 48% quando foi usado embebição na presença de luz (8/16 horas), a germinação iniciou-se com 22 horas de embebição, superando os demais tempos.
