Provided is an input device comprising: a detection unit which is activated by tapping on the body of the user, and which detects as detection data vibrations transmitted through the body of the user; and an input information identification unit which refers to detection data, and identifies the tap position on the basis of a change in detection data according to the length of the vibration transmission path from the tap position to the detection unit.
