De acuerdo con la Asociación Latina de Diabetes (LDA) usted debe visitar a su médico para hacerse una prueba de diabetes si tiene alguno de los siguientes síntomas: micción frecuente, pérdida de peso inexplicable, cambios repentinos en la visión, sensación de fatiga la mayor parte del tiempo, llagas que tardan en sanar, sed excesiva, hambre extrema, hormigueo o entumecimiento en las manos o los pies, piel muy seca o presentar más infecciones de lo habitual.
