أما فيما يخص النزاع الحدودي القائم بين الأردن وسوريا، فإن المسألة تتعلق بصفة رئيسية بالنصف الغربي لحزام الألغام، وعليه فإن عمليات إزالة الألغام ستبدأ في النصف الشرقي أولاً.
