Under article 5 of the Publishers Act of 30 May 2000, material prepared, produced and distributed by publishing companies may not contain calls for divulgence of State secrets, the violent change or overthrow of the existing constitutional order, attacks on the security of the country or the integrity of the State, propaganda for war, violence, or ethnic, racial or religious exclusivity, intolerance or social division, the publication and dissemination of materials of a pornographic or defamatory nature, or the commission of other offences.

Con arreglo al artículo 5 de la Ley de edición, de 30 de mayo de 2000, en las publicaciones preparadas, realizadas y difundidas por editoriales queda prohibido hacer llamamientos para divulgar secretos del Estado, subvertir o modificar por medios violentos el régimen constitucional vigente en el Estado, atentar contra la seguridad del país o la integridad del Estado, hacer propaganda de la guerra, violencia, exclusividad étnica, racial o religiosa, intolerancia o discordia social, publicar y difundir materiales de carácter pornográfico o calumnias y cometer otras violaciones de la ley.

Согласно статье 5 Закона Азербайджанской Республики "Об издательском деле" от 30 мая 2000 года в издательской продукции, изготовляемой, производимой и распространяемой субъектами издательского дела, не допускаются призывы к распространению государственной тайны, насильственному смещению или изменению существующего конституционного государственного строя, посягательству на безопасность страны, целостность государства, к пропаганде войны, насилия, национальной, расовой, религиозной исключительности, нетерпимости, социальной розни, а также изданию и распространению материалов порнографического характера, клевете и другим правонарушениям.
