ووفقاً لتوصية اليونيسبيس الثالث بشأن استخدام التطبيقات الفضائية من أجل تحسين خدمات الصحة العامة، تضمَّن برنامج الأمم المتحدة للتطبيقات الفضائية لعام 2005 حلقة العمل حول استخدام تكنولوجيا الفضاء لأغراض الصحة البشرية لفائدة بلدان أمريكا اللاتينية، التي نظمتها الأمم المتحدة والأرجنتين ووكالة الفضاء الأوروبية (إيسا).

In accordance with the recommendation of UNISPACE III on the use of space applications to improve public health services, the United Nations Programme on Space Applications for 2005 included the Workshop on the Use of Space Technology for Human Health for the benefit of the countries in Latin America, organized by the United Nations, Argentina and the European Space Agency (ESA).

De conformidad con la recomendación de UNISPACE III sobre la utilización de aplicaciones de la tecnología espacial para mejorar los servicios de salud pública, el Programa de las Naciones Unidas de aplicaciones de la tecnología espacial correspondiente a 2005 incluyó el Curso práctico sobre la utilización de la tecnología espacial para la salud humana, en beneficio de los países en desarrollo de América Latina y el Caribe, organizado por las Naciones Unidas, la Argentina y la Agencia Espacial Europea (ESA).
