This route leads out of Innsbruck and up onto the slopes of the Nordkette mountain range. The Hungerburgbahn funicular makes it possible to cover a large part of the ascent very quickly. The walk starts from Hermann-Buhl-Platz square, which has beautiful views of Innsbruck and the surrounding mountains, including Patscherkofel, Serles and Nockspitze.
