وفي ليلة 17 مارس/آذار 2012، قام أحد الفلسطينيين باجتياز الحدود نحو الأردن فتم اقتياده مباشرة إلى مراكز الأمن العسكري الأردني على الحدود وإجباره على العودة إلى سوريا، وتعرض إلى التهديد بالترحيل للمرة الثالثة، ثم سُمح له بالبقاء في الأردن.

A Palestinian who crossed at night into Jordan on March 17, 2012, was immediately taken to Jordanian Military Security offices on the border and was forced twice to cross back into Syria, threatened with deportation a third time, and was then allowed to stay in Jordan.
