* The two leaders agreed on the imperative to forge a forward-looking relationship by deepening the bilateral engagement at a strategic level and better leveraging significant complementarities existing between the two countries in key areas of mutual interest such as: energy security; agriculture and food security; mineral resources; education; infrastructure development; and advanced civilian, defence and space technologies.

* दोनों नेता सामरिक स्तर पर द्विपक्षीय भागीदारी को गहन करके तथा आपसी हित के प्रमुख क्षेत्रों जैसे कि ऊर्जा सुरक्षा, कृषि एवं खाद्य सुरक्षा, खनिज संसाधन, शिक्षा, अवसंरचना विकास और उन्नत असैन्य, रक्षा एवं अंतरिक्ष प्रौद्योगिकी के क्षेत्र में दोनों देशों के बीच विद्यमान महत्वपूर्ण संपूरकताओं का बेहतर उपयोग करके एक अग्रदर्शी संबंध स्थापित करने की अनिवार्यता पर सहमत हुए।
