وقدم مدير الشعبة كذلك في إطار هذا البند من بنود جدول الأعمال معلومات عن سلسلة الدورات التدريبية الإقليمية المتعلقة بإعداد الطلبات المقدمة إلى اللجنة بشأن الحدود الخارجية للجرف القاري فيما يتجاوز 200 ميل بحري من خط الأساس الذي يقاس منه عرض البحر الإقليمي التي نظمتها الشعبة بالتعاون مع دول ومنظمات دولية، وأبلغ الاجتماع بعزم الشعبة على تنظيم دورات تدريبية إضافية على الصعيد دون الإقليمي.

Also under this agenda item, the Director of the Division provided information on the series of regional training courses on the preparation of submissions to the Commission on the outer limits of the continental shelf beyond 200 nautical miles from the baselines from which the breadth of the territorial sea is measured, which had been organized by the Division in cooperation with States and international organizations, and informed the Meeting about the Division’s intention to organize additional training courses at the subregional level.
