이를 구현하기 위한 본 발명은 공급되는 전류를 제어하여 대기전력 소모를 차단시키는 대기전력 차단기가 구비된 멀티 탭에 있어서, 전원콘센트에 결합되어 있는 전원플러그와 도선으로 연결되어 외부 전류를 계속적으로 공급받는 상시단자가 내설된 상시전류 멀티 탭과, 상기 상시전류 멀티 탭의 상시단자와 연결도선으로 연결되어 상시단자로 공급된 전류를 인가받는 선택단자가 내설된 선택전류 멀티 탭을 포함하며, 상기 연결도선은 상기 대기전력 차단기에 설치되어 있는 스위치의 온/오프 스위칭 동작에 따라 접속 및 접속 해지되며 상기 상시단자에서 상기 선택단자로 공급되는 전류를 제어토록 함을 특징으로 한다.
