The sixth edition of the Catalonia Construcción Prizes promoted by the College of Quantity Surveyors, Technical Architects and Construction Engineers of Barcelona (CAATEEB) has for the first time given an award in the category of Refurbishments, shared in three ex aequo prizes by the following projects: the Agro-Foods Scientific and an old military barracks to convert them into a single architectural volume for multiple uses, the Restoration of the Mataronens Workers’ Cooperative (Mataró), by Manuel Brullet, Alfonso de Luna and Jaume Piñol; and finally the Urbanisation of the old district of Banyoles (Girona), by the architects Josep Miàs and Albert Ribera.

La sexta edición de los Premios Cataluña Construcción, impulsados por el Colegio de Aparejadores, Arquitectos Técnicos e Ingenieros de Edificación de Barcelona (CAATEEB), contaba por primera vez con un galardón en la categoría de Rehabilitación que se repartió en tres premios ex aequo para los siguientes proyectos: el Parque Científico y Tecnológico Agroalimentario en Gardeny (Lleida), de Pich Aguilera Arquitectes y Puigdemasa Arquitectes, que reaprovecha tres edificios de una antigua caserna militar para reconvertirlos en un único volumen arquitectónico de usos múltiples; la Restauración de la Cooperativa Girona), de los arquitectos Josep Miàs y Albert Ribera.
