تعد عملية الحفر الرابعة في العمق في مضيق جبل طارق أهم الأنشطة التي جرى تنفيذها في الفترة المشمولة بالتقرير. وتهدف هذه العملية إلى إيضاح أوجه الشك المتعلقة بالناحية الجيولوجية في الثلث الأوسط من المسار.

Without a doubt, the most important activity undertaken during the reference period was the fourth campaign of subsea deep drilling operations in the Strait of Gibraltar, aimed at removing the geological uncertainties encountered in the central third of the route.
