Συμφωνώ με τη στάση του εισηγητή ότι το νομικό πλαίσιο που ορίζεται στην πρόταση οδηγίας αποτελεί σημαντική συνεισφορά στην αποτελεσματική προστασία του περιβάλλοντος, και μπορεί να εγγυηθεί την ενιαία και υπεύθυνη εφαρμογή του δικαίου περιβαλλοντικής προστασίας εντός της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης.

I agree with the rapporteur's stance that the legal framework defined in the proposal for a directive represents an important contribution to effective protection of the environment, and can guarantee uniform and responsible implementation of environmental protection law within the European Union. Appropriately trained officials are a sine qua non for effective implementation of the law and actual reduction of offences against the environment.
