The front of the building is the most decorated artefact of the Mudejar in Spain, visible from the "Patio de la Montería" in whose construction the Alarife Moors participated with Sevillian artersians and decorators from Toledo. The inside of the building is ordered around two courtyards; the courtyard of Las Doncellas for public life and the courtyard of the Las Muñecas for private life.

Op het centrale binnenplein, de Patio de la Monteria (het Jachthof) bevindt zich een van de mooist versierde gevels in mudéjarstijl van Spanje. Bij de bouw van dit Palacio Mudéjar of het Palacio del Rey Don Pedro hebben Moorse bouwers, handwerkslieden uit Sevilla en decorateurs uit Toledo hun krachten gebundeld. Het interieur van het paleis is Muñecas was privégebied.
