وتشعر اللجنة بالقلق لأن بعض عمليات التحقق من الأوضاع القانونية للمهاجرين قد جرت في ظروف عرّضت حياة العمال المهاجرين العابرين وسلامتهم الجسدية للخطر، وهي تحدث إما في الليل أو في أماكن يهرب فيها العمال المهاجرون من الرقابة على الهجرة ويجدون أنفسهم تحت رحمة الجماعات الإجرامية أو العصابات.

The Committee is concerned that some operations to verify individuals’ migration status have been carried out under circumstances that have endangered the lives or physical well-being of migrant workers in transit, either at night or in places where those who evade migration controls are at the mercy of criminal groups or gangs.

Inquieta al Comité que algunas operaciones de verificación de la situación migratoria se hayan llevado a cabo en circunstancias que han puesto en peligro la vida o la integridad personal de trabajadores migratorios en tránsito, ya sea de noche o en lugares en que quienes evaden los controles migratorios quedan a merced de grupos o bandas delincuenciales.

Комитет выражает обеспокоенность в связи с тем, что некоторые операции по проверке миграционного статуса осуществлялись в обстоятельствах, ставивших под угрозу жизнь и физическую неприкосновенность транзитных трудящихся-мигрантов, а именно в ночное время или в местах, где лица, стремящиеся избежать миграционного контроля, оказываются в полной власти преступных группировок или банд.
