Bei einem aus einem nichtleitenden Material extrudierten Abschlussprofil (1), insbesondere als Sicherheitskontaktleiste ausgebildet, wird ein das Abschlussprofil (1) mit ausbildendes Profil (3) mit wenigstens einem inneren, parallel zu der Längserstreckung des Profils (3) verlaufenden, in dem Material eingebetteten, elektrischen Leiter (9, 12) versehen.
