In addition, as a result of the regionalization approach to ICT support of the missions in the region, it is proposed that an existing post of Chief Communications Officer (P-4) be abolished, as it has been determined that the functions of the post can be absorbed within the new regional staffing structure by leveraging the expertise of other senior Communications Officers in the planning and execution of regional initiatives.

Кроме того, с учетом подхода к регионализации использования ИКТ в миссиях в регионе предлагается упразднить имеющуюся должность главного сотрудника по коммуникациям (С‐4), поскольку было решено, что функции сотрудника на этой должности сможет выполнять новая региональная кадровая структура за счет использования профессиональных знаний других старших сотрудников по коммуникациям в процессе планирования и реализации региональных инициатив.
