Die Registrierungen und Beobachtungen der Feldstärke und der elektrischen Raumladung unmittelbar an der Küste und in verschiedener Entfernung von ihr auf dem Lande wurden ergänzt durch eine Feldmessung auf See außerhalb der Brandungszone und führten zu dem wichtigen Ergebnis, daß die Feldschwankungen offenbar nicht in der Brandung entstehen, sondern bereits auf freier See vorhanden sind.

Records and observations of the potential gradient and of the electrical space charge at the coast and in various distances from it have been completed by a potential measurement at sea beyond the surf-zone and have led to the important result that apparently the field fluctuations do not originate in the surf but are already existing on open sea.

Il a complété les enregistrements et observations du gradient de potentiel ainsi que de la charge spatiale sur la côte elle-même et à différentes distances à l'intérieur des terres par une mesure du potentiel en mer, au-delà de la zone du ressac. Ces mesures permettent d'affirmer que les variations du champ électrique ne prennent pas naissance dans le ressac, mais existent déjà en haute mer.
