The first is the REDINSCOR (Red Española de Insuficiencia Cardiaca [Spanish Network for Heart Failure]) registry,, a prospective observational study conducted in HF units at 18 hospitals in Spain that included a total of 2507 outpatients between January 2007 and March 2013 who met the following criteria: age ≥ 18 years, hospitalization for HF in the previous year, and 1 or more of the dysfunction, and interventricular septum and/or posterior wall thickness ≥ 14 mm. Patients were excluded if they had HF secondary to severe valve disease eligible for surgical repair, right HF secondary to chronic cor pulmonale or congenital heart disease, and/or concomitant end-stage disease.

El primero de ellos es el REDINSCOR (Red Española de Insuficiencia Cardiaca), un estudio observacional prospectivo realizado en unidades de IC de 18 hospitales de España que incluyó un total de 2.507 pacientes ambulatorios entre enero de 2007 y marzo de 2013, siempre que cumplieran los siguientes criterios: edad ≥ 18 años, tener una hospitalización por IC en el año precedente y alguna de las siguientes alteraciones ecocardiográficas: fracción de eyección del ventrículo excluyó a los pacientes con IC secundaria a enfermedad valvular grave susceptible de reparación quirúrgica, IC derecha secundaria a cor pulmonale crónico o cardiopatía congénita y/o una enfermedad terminal concomitante.
