Une des principales curiosités touristiques est le palais. Le « Kaiserpfalz » de Goslar (Palais impérial) fut construit au 11ème siècle et devint une résidence pour les empereurs, en particulier Henri III qui se rendit dans son palais favori près de vingt fois.
