As the Commission pointed out in its answer to Written Question E-006447/2018, Spain has identified the construction of a new underwater outfall and the extension of the existing waste water treatment plant of Placeres as the best technical, economic, social and environmental alternative to cope with the current and forecasted waste water pollution load of the entire agglomeration of Pontevedra-Marín-Poio-Bueu.

Como señaló la Comisión en su respuesta a la pregunta escrita E-006447/2018, España determinó que la construcción de un nuevo emisario submarino y la ampliación de la actual planta depuradora de Os Praceres constituían la mejor alternativa técnica, económica, social y medioambiental para hacer frente a la carga contaminante, actual y estimada, de las aguas residuales de la aglomeración urbana de Pontevedra-Marín-Poio-Bueu.
