The present invention relates to a method for processing a cut portion of a glass substrate, and an apparatus for processing a cut portion of a glass substrate used for the method, the method comprising the steps of: (a) fixing the glass substrate to a glass substrate support; (b) heating a heating member to a temperature higher than the Tg of the glass sheet; and (c) bringing the heated heating member into contact with one point on one edge to one point on a symmetrically opposite edge of a vertical surface of a cooled cut portion of the glass substrate, all at once, and cutting a strip from the entire vertical surface by gradually moving the point of contact.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'une partie coupée d'un substrat en verre et un appareil de traitement d'une partie coupée d'un substrat en verre utilisé pour le procédé, le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant : (a) à fixer le substrat en verre à un support de substrat en verre; (b) à chauffer un élément chauffant à une température supérieure à la Tg de la plaque de verre; et (c) à mettre en contact l'élément chauffant chauffé avec un point sur un bord jusqu'à un point sur un bord symétriquement opposé d'une surface verticale d'une partie coupée refroidie du substrat en verre, d'un seul coup, et à couper une bande dans la surface verticale entière par déplacement progressif du point de contact.
