Socrates’ downfall was questioning everything too much, for believing too little in the gods of Athens and for ruining its youth with doubts.

Athènes avait ses démagogues: Anytos par exemple, était un homme d’affaires prospère qui a convaincu de façon très démocratique le reste de la société pour qu’elle condamne à mort la tête pensante de l’époque, Socrate car il posait trop de questions, il croyait très peu aux dieux d’Athènes, car il corrompait la jeunesse avec des questionnements.
