On a three day stay in the park Mr. T viewed a plethora of birds and insects; he also saw tayra, white-lipped peccary, capybara, common squirrel monkey, brown capuchin monkey, dusky titi monkey (unique to Madidi, and recently named as a new species – rare to see), long nosed bat, spectacled incredible ecological composition caught the attention of national and foreign researchers and environmentalists who for more than ten years, with the sponsorship of the Bolivian Academy of Sciences, have joined efforts to have it recognized as a protected area.

Gedurende een driedaags verblijf in het park zag Mr T niet alleen velen vogels en insecten, hij zag ook een tayra, witlippekari, capybara, eekhoorn aap, bruine kapucijnaap, schemerige titi aap (uniek voor Madidi, en onlangs uitgeroepen als een nieuwe soort – zeldzaam om te zien), langneus vleermuis, brilkaaiman, reuze gladiator kikker, enz.. Het Beni Biosphere Reservaat Dit reservaat beslaat een geografisch gebied van 135.000 hectare.
