وعلى وجه الإجمال، فإن اتخاذ كل ما يلزم من تدابير لضمان مناولة الذخائر على الوجه الصحيح هو أمر يعمل على بلوغ درجة عالية من الموثوقية في استخدامها للغرض المتوخى منها وعلى التقليل إلى أدنى حد من خطر أن تصبح متفجرات من مخلفات الحرب، الأمر الذي يتم التثبت منه في الاختبارات التي يتم إجراؤها في ميادين الرماية، وفي تمارين مكافحة الحرائق، وفي الاستخدام في العمليات العسكرية.

On the whole, the conduct of all measures to ensure the proper handling of munitions makes it possible to guarantee the high reliability of their use for their intended purpose and to minimize the risk of their becoming explosive remnants of war, which is confirmed in range testing, fire practice and operational use.

En conjunto, la aplicación de todas las medidas para la correcta manipulación de las municiones permite garantizar un alto grado de fiabilidad cuando éstas se utilizan para su objetivo principal y reduce al mínimo el riesgo de que se conviertan en restos explosivos de guerra (REG), como ha podido comprobarse en los ensayos en polígonos, en las pruebas con fuego real y durante su uso en campaña.
