وعلاوة على ذلك، وفي مثل هذه الجريمة، يحق للنائب العام، بموجب المادة 393 (7) من قانون الإجراءات الجنائية، أن يودع لائحة اتهام لدى المحكمة العليا أو أن يقرر أن تقام إجراءات غير موجزة أمام محكمة الصلح، "بالنظر إلى طبيعة الجريمة أو أي ظروف أخرى".

Moreover, for such an offence, the Attorney‐General has the right, in accordance with section 393 (7) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to file an indictment in the High Court or to decide that non‐summary proceedings will be held before the Magistrate’s Court, “having regard to the nature of the offence or any other circumstances”.
