Plantas muy resistentes a las enfermedades y a los parásitos, que crecen como las salvajes sobre sus pies, sin necesidad de podas, o contentándose como un normal seto de un corte mecánico al año; plantas para paisaje, en mata, ramificadas desde la base y resistentes al hielo, con flores de pequeña talla y perfume modesto, en flor casi sin descanso desde mayo a diciembre; plantas cubre suelo de crecimiento rápido y bajos costes para las obras públicas, que en el trayecto entre Bolonia e Imola de la autopista A14 ya ocupan, por nombrar una, 30 km de contenedores separadores de tráfico; pero también plantas para terraza, en cajones, y plantas para concursos, que ostentan unos treinta reconocimientos internacionales y no pocas medallas de oro.
