وتشيد فنزويلا بالجهود التي بذلها المجلس لعقد هذه الجلسة، لا سيما من جانب البلدان التي دعت إلى عقد مناقشة مفتوحة شفافة وصريحة في هذه الهيئة وإلى اتخاذ المجلس إجراء لتنشيط عملية السلام، وكذلك البلدان التي قدمت مبادرات ترمي إلى كسر حالة الجمود.

Venezuela acknowledges the efforts made by the Council to hold this meeting, especially on the part of those countries that have called an for open, transparent and frank discussion in this body and for action by the Council that would revitalize the peace process, as well as the countries that have presented initiatives aimed at emerging from the stalemate.

Venezuela reconoce los esfuerzos realizados en este Consejo para llegar a esta sesión, en particular aquellos países que han abogado por la discusión abierta, transparente y franca en este órgano y por una acción del Consejo de Seguridad que reimpulse el proceso de paz, al igual que los países que han presentado iniciativas para salir de la inercia.
