وقد عقدت أمانة المرأة ومكتب السيدة الأولى اجتماعات عمل مع أعضاء وعضوات مجلس الشيوخ في البرلمان الوطني، لطلب التعجيل بالنظر في القوانين، مثل قانون الطفولة والمراهقة، وقانون مكافحة العنف المنزلي ضد المرأة، وغيرهما.

The Women’s Bureau and the Office of the First Lady, have held working meetings with senators of both sexes in the National Parliament, in order to urge haste in passing laws such as the Childhood and Adolescence Code and the Act on Domestic Violence Against Women, among others.
