إن اللجنة، إذ تنوه بأن المادة 35 من الدستور تكفل مساواة جميع المواطنين أمام القانون، فإنها تشعر بالقلق إزاء التقارير التي تشير إلى ممارسة التمييز العنصري ضد السكان المحليين والتجار المحليين في مناطق سياحية، لا سيما في شواطئ أقاليم إنهامباني، وغازا، وكابو ديلغادو وفرض قيود على حرية تنقلهم (المواد 2 و12 و26).

While noting that article 35 of the Constitution ensures that all citizens are equal before the law, the Committee is concerned at reports of racial discrimination against locals and local traders in tourist regions, particularly in the beaches of the Provinces of Inhambane, Gaza and Cabo Delgado, and restrictions on their freedom of movement (arts. 2, 12, and 26).

Aunque observa que el artículo 35 de la Constitución garantiza a todos los ciudadanos la igualdad ante la ley, el Comité ve con preocupación las informaciones sobre la presunta discriminación racial de los lugareños y los comerciantes locales en las regiones turísticas, especialmente en las playas de las provincias de Inhambane, Gaza y Cabo Delgado, y las restricciones a su libertad de circulación (arts. 2, 12 y 26).

Tout en notant que l’article 35 de la Constitution garantit à tous les citoyens l’égalité devant la loi, le Comité est préoccupé par des informations faisant état d’actes discriminatoires à l’égard des habitants et marchands locaux dans les régions touristiques, en particulier sur les plages des provinces d’Inhambane, de Gaza et de Cabo Delgado, et par les restrictions à la liberté de circulation de ces personnes (art. 2, 12 et 26).
