আর কে বেশী অন্যায়কারী তার চাইতে যাকে স্মরণ করিয়ে দেওয়া হয় তার প্রভুর বাণীসমূহ, কিন্তু সে তা থেকে ফিরে যায় আর ভুলে যায় তার হাত দুখানা কী আগবাড়িয়েছিল? নিঃসন্দেহ আমরা তাদের হৃদয়ের উপরে আবরণ স্থাপন ক রেছি পাছে তারা এটি বুঝতে পারে, আর তাদের কানের ভেতরে বধিরতা। আর তুমি যদি তাদের সৎপথের প্রতি আহান করো তারা সেক্ষেত্রে কখনো সৎপথের দিকে চলবে না।

Who is more wicked than he who has been reminded of the revelations of his Lord, then turns away from them and forgets what his own hands have done? We have cast veils over their hearts lest they understand Our words, and made them hard of hearing.
