Damit es so bleibe und immer wieder neu schön wird und immer neu wieder Menschen „ja“ sagen können zum Leben, zur Zukunft, darum ist es wichtig, daß wir den Glanz des Glaubens nicht verlieren, daß wir gläubig, christlich, katholisch bleiben, und katholisch heißt immer auch „weltoffen“; die Welt lieben und glauben miteinander, heißt tolerant und offen für einander sein in der herzlichen Brüderlichkeit und Geschwisterlichkeit derer, die sich dem einen Vater zugehörig und von einen Herrn geliebt wissen.

In order for it to stay like this and continue to be ever beautiful and for people to be able to continue to say “yes” to life and to the future, it is important that we do not lose the splendour of faith, that we remain believers, Christians, Catholics, wherever Catholic also means always being “open to the world” — that is, the world, life and faith at the same time — it means being tolerant and open to each other and to warm brotherhood for those who know they belong to the one Father and are loved by the one Lord.

Para que pueda seguir siendo así, siempre bella, y para que las personas puedan seguir diciendo sí a la vida, al futuro, es importante que no perdamos el esplendor de la fe, que sigamos siendo creyentes, cristianos, católicos donde católico significa también siempre estar «abiertos al mundo» —es decir, mundo, vida y fe juntos—; significa ser tolerantes y abiertos respecto de los demás con cordial fraternidad hacia quienes saben que pertenecen al único Padre y que son amados por el único Señor.

Affinché possa restare così e continuare ad essere sempre bella e le persone possano continuare a dire di sì alla vita, al futuro, è importante che non perdiamo lo splendore della fede, che rimaniamo credenti, cristiani, cattolici laddove cattolico significa anche sempre essere “aperti al mondo”, amare il mondo e credere insieme; significa essere tolleranti ed aperti gli uni agli altri alla cordiale fraternità nei riguardi di coloro che sanno di appartenere all’unico Padre e che sanno di essere amati dall’unico Signore.

A fim de que ela possa permanecer assim e continuar a ser sempre linda, e para que as pessoas possam dizer incessantemente sim à vida, ao futuro, é importante que não percamos o esplendor da fé, que permaneçamos crentes, cristãos, católicos onde católico significa também, sempre, ser «abertos ao mundo» — ou seja, mundo, vida e fé juntos — significa ser tolerantes e abertos uns aos outros, à fraternidade cordial em relação a quantos sabem que pertencem ao único Pai e sabem que são amados pelo único Senhor.
