The phosphate solubilizing fungi Penicillium radicum, Penicillium bilaiae (strain RS7B-SD1), and an unidentified Penicillium sp. designated strain KC6-W2 were tested for their ability to increase the growth and phosphorus (P) nutrition of wheat, medic, and lentil in three soils of neutral to alkaline pH reaction.

Des champignons capables de solubiliser le phosphate, Penicillium radicum, Penicillium bilaiae (souche RS7B-SD1), ainsi qu'une souche de Penicillium non identifiée (souche KC6-W2), ont été testés relativement à leur capacité d'augmenter la croissance et l'apport nutritif en phosphore (P) du blé, de la luzerne et de la lentille cultivés dans trois types de sols de pH neutre à alcalin.
