From a critical understanding of the nostalgia for the industrial past that garnered important well-being standards - with its assumed cost - a certain story of transformation starts to build up, with an ethical burden marked by the feeling of satisfying the idea of good living around factories, a feeling that incidentally is immovable in the memory of those who gave life to the city decades ago, but without neglecting the schizophrenia proper to the awareness of the perversity/benefit of the old means of production and the narrow possibilities of movement imposed by the current neoliberal capitalism on its citizens in order to be able to negotiate with the different hegemonic powers.

Desde una comprensión crítica de la nostalgia por ese pasado industrial que logró grados importantes de bienestar -con sus costes asumidos- se comienza a erigir cierto relato de transformación, con una carga ética marcada por la sensación de satisfacer esa idea de buen vivir en torno a las fábricas, sentimiento que, por cierto, es inamovible de la memoria de quienes dieron vida a la ciudad décadas atrás, pero sin dejar de lado la esquizofrenia propia de la conciencia de la perversidad/ beneficio del modo de producción de antaño y las estrechas posibilidades de movimiento que impone el actual capitalismo neoliberal a los ciudadanos para poder negociar con los diferentes poderes hegemónicos.
