The National Survey of Living Conditions is a statistical study that provides relevant, reliable and timely information within the framework of the Integrated Household Survey System. This makes it possible to obtain and analyse comprehensive and detailed socio-economic information on the well-being and poverty level of households in various regions and in rural and urban areas, and so to gain a fuller understanding of living conditions in the country.

La Encuesta Nacional de Condiciones de Vida constituye una investigación estadística que proporciona información relevante, confiable y oportuna en el marco del Sistema Integrado de Encuestas de Hogares (SIEH), que permite conocer, analizar y obtener información socioeconómica integral y detallada sobre los niveles de bienestar y de pobreza de los hogares en las diferentes regiones, áreas urbanas y rurales para contar con una imagen completa de las condiciones de vida del país.
