بهذه الطريقة – ضمن المتابعة الفعالة لبرنامج عمل الأمم المتحدة لمنع الاتجار غير المشروع بالأسلحة الصغيرة والأسلحة الخفيفة من جميع جوانبه ومكافحته والقضاء عليه – ستستضيف نيكاراغوا مقر مشروع أمريكا الوسطى لمراقبة الاتجار غير المشروع بالأسلحة الصغيرة والأسلحة الخفيفة. وسيكون ذلك بمثابة تنفيذ لمعاهدة الدول الأمريكية لمكافحة الصنع غير المشروع للأسلحة النارية، والمتفجرات وغيرها من المواد ذات الصلة والاتجار غير المشروع بها.

In this way — following up effectively on the United Nations Programme of Action to Prevent, Combat and Eradicate the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons in All Its Aspects — Nicaragua will serve as the headquarters of the Central American project for the control of the illicit trade in small arms and light weapons, thus implementing the Inter-American Convention against the Illicit Manufacturing of and Traffic in Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Other Related Materials.

De la misma forma, dando seguimiento de forma efectiva al Programa de Acción para prevenir, combatir y eliminar el tráfico ilícito de armas pequeñas y ligeras en todos sus aspectos, de Naciones Unidas, Nicaragua será la sede del Proyecto Centroamericano contra el Trafico Ilícito de Armas Pequeñas y Ligeras, llevando así a la práctica la Convención Interamericana contra la Fabricación y el Tráfico Ilícitos de Armas de Fuego, Municiones, Explosivos y Otros Materiales Relacionados.

De même, en application effective du Programme d’action en vue de prévenir, combattre et éliminer le commerce illicite des armes légères sous tous ses aspects de l’Organisation des Nations Unies, le Nicaragua sera le siège du Projet de l’Amérique centrale contre le commerce illicite des armes légères et de petit calibre, mettant ainsi en oeuvre de la Convention interaméricaine contre la fabrication et le trafic illicites d’armes à feu, de munitions, d’explosifs et d’autres matériels connexes.

Таким образом — эффективно осуществляя Программу действий Организации Объединенных Наций по предотвращению и искоренению незаконной торговли стрелковым оружием и легкими вооружениями во всех ее аспектах и борьбе с нею — Никарагуа будет служить в качестве штаб-квартиры Центральноамериканского проекта по борьбе с незаконной торговлей стрелковым оружием и легкими вооружениями, выполняя тем самым положения Межамериканской конвенции о борьбе с незаконным производством и оборотом огнестрельного оружия, боеприпасов, средств взрывания и других связанных с ними элементов.
