[305] The Commission doubts whether the prices paid by the state-owned military shipbuilding group Bazan (which then changed its name to IZAR) for a number of shipyards bought from the state-owned civil shipbuilding group Astilleros Espanoles (AESA) and from the state holding company Sociedad Estatal de Participationes Industriales (SEPI) were genuine market transactions and therefore might constitute aid to the new IZAR group.
