ففي ذلك البيان، طلب رؤساء دول البلدان الخمسة ذات الأولوية في استراتيجية الأمم المتحدة المتكاملة لمنطقة الساحل إلى الأمم المتحدة أن تعزّز المكتب وتنقله إلى مقر المجموعة الخماسية لمنطقة الساحل في نواكشوط، بهدف تحسين التنسيق والتعاون فيما يتعلق بتنفيذ المشاريع المشتركة لصالح بلدان منطقة الساحل واستراتيجية الأمم المتحدة لمنطقة الساحل (انظر الفقرة السابقة للفقرة ما قبل الأخيرة من المرفق).

In that communiqué, the Heads of State of the five priority countries of the United Nations integrated strategy for the Sahel asked the United Nations to strengthen and relocate the Office to the headquarters of the Group of Five for the Sahel, in Nouakchott, with a view to improving coordination and cooperation in the implementation of joint projects for the Sahel countries and of the United Nations integrated strategy for the Sahel (see annex, antepenultimate paragraph).

En ese comunicado, los Jefes de Estado de los cinco países prioritarios de la Estrategia Integrada de las Naciones Unidas para el Sahel solicitaron a las Naciones Unidas que reforzaran la Oficina y la trasladaran a la sede del Grupo de los Cinco del Sahel, en Nuakchot, con el fin de coordinar mejor la ejecución de proyectos conjuntos que beneficiaran a los países del Sahel y de la Estrategia Integrada de las Naciones Unidas para el Sahel y cooperar más en esas tareas (véase el antepenúltimo párrafo del anexo).

Dans ce communiqué, les chefs d’État des cinq pays prioritaires de la Stratégie intégrée des Nations Unies pour le Sahel ont demandé à l’Organisation des Nations Unies le renforcement et le transfert du Bureau au siège du Groupe de cinq pays du Sahel, à Nouakchott, pour une meilleure coordination et coopération dans la mise en œuvre des projets conjoints au profit du Sahel et de la Stratégie intégrée (voir annexe, antépénultième paragraphe).
