Im Jahr 1961 wurde ein Grab in Caubbio gefunden, das aus dem zweiten Jahrhundert vor Christus datiert wurde, dessen Grabmitgiften in dem archäologischen Museum von Portoferraio aufbewahrt werden, die aus schwarz glasierte Vasen, einer Lampe und einem Unguentarium bestehen.

In 1961 in the location of Caubbio was found a burial of the late hellenic age around the second century BC. The Archaeological Museum of Portoferraio, actually holds this historical material made of black painted vases, a lamp and an ointment.
